Silence or restore every tab in the current browser window with one page-action command.

Control audio across the current window

Mute All Tabs and Unmute All Tabs update the muted state of every open tab in the current browser window.

Mute All Tabs · default prefix mat

Silences every tab in the current window, including tabs that are not currently active.

Unmute All Tabs · default prefix umat

Removes the muted state from every tab in the current window.

Window scope

These commands act on the current window. Other browser windows are not included in the same operation.

Mute every tab in the current window

Use this when audio is playing from one or more tabs and you want to silence the complete window immediately.

1Run Mute All Tabs

Select the command from webpage search or enter its configured prefix.

2Continue browsing

All tabs in the current window remain muted until they are unmuted individually or with SuperCommands.

Restore tab audio

Unmute All Tabs clears the muted state applied to tabs in the current window.

1Run Unmute All Tabs

Open SuperCommands in the window whose tabs should be restored.

2Resume media when needed

The command unmutes tabs; websites may still require their own play control to resume paused media.
