- Step 1: Open the saved item you want to launch faster, such as a Link, Note, Session, Text Expander, or command.
- Step 2: Open Properties for that saved item.
- Step 3: Choose Assign a Text Shortcut.
- Step 4: Enter a short letters-and-numbers trigger, such as work, docs, notes, or client2.
